The small pieces decide whether the room works on opening day. These 19 accessories cover umbrellas and umbrella bases, acrylic counter shields, partition stands with planters, bolt-down and bar-height bases, and air purifiers. Match each one to the table or counter it will sit with before it goes in the basket.

Umbrellas and their bases

Four umbrellas sit on this shelf: a wood one at 9 feet, and three aluminum ones at 7.5, 9, and 11 feet. The bases come in cast iron and in galvanized silver, with casters on some and none on others. Casters help when the whole sidewalk set rolls in at closing. A base without them stays where you put it, which suits a corner that never changes.

Check that the table has a hole before you buy a pole to go through it. Patio tables with umbrella hole lists them, and the patio umbrellas page shows umbrellas and bases side by side.

Counter shields and air

Acrylic counter shields stand 24 inches or 36 inches high, and a third rolls on casters. Hold a tape against the counter before you choose a height, because the shield sits on top and adds to whatever the counter already is. Free-standing and wall-mounted air purifiers are on the same shelf, so you can pick a floor spot or a wall.

Partition stands and hardware

Partition stands with planters come as end, middle, and corner pieces. A run can start at a wall, continue down the middle, and turn at a corner without changing the look. The patio partitions page has the panels that go with them.

Hardware is here too. A cast iron bolt-down base fixes a table to the floor, and a chrome rounded base is listed at bar height. Base materials across the shelf run to cast iron, steel, stainless steel, chrome, and concrete. Pair a base with its top on the table bases side before you decide.

Fit before you buy

Four measurements cover most of this shelf:

  • the table's hole and the base's footprint, for an umbrella
  • the counter's depth and the height you need, for a shield
  • the length of the run and the corners, for partition stands
  • the floor under the table, for a bolt-down base

Write each accessory on its own line in cafe plans, next to the table or counter it serves. Singles range from $37 to $630. If you can't tell whether a piece fits, ask through talk to a specialist and a person will call back inside one of the Central time windows, Monday to Friday.
